HP Envy 4520 Cartridge Replacement

The HP Envy 4520 uses two ink cartridges: an HP 63 black ink cartridge and an HP 63XL tri-color ink cartridge (or HP 63 tri-color ink cartridge).

Here’s how to replace the cartridges:

1. Turn on the printer and make sure it’s idle and silent.
2. Open the printer lid. The cartridge carriage should move to the center of the printer.
3. Wait until the carriage is idle and silent before you proceed.
4. Gently press down on the used ink cartridge to release it, and then pull it towards you to remove it.
5. Remove the new ink cartridge from its package.
6. Carefully remove the plastic tape from the new ink cartridge.
7. Hold the new ink cartridge so that the HP logo is facing up, and then insert the cartridge into the correct slot.
8. Push the ink cartridge forward until it snaps into place.
9. Repeat steps 4-8 to replace the other ink cartridge, if necessary.
10. Close the printer lid.

That’s it! You should now be able to resume printing with your HP Envy 4520.

Here are some additional tips for replacing ink cartridges:

• Make sure you have the correct ink cartridges for your printer model.
• Do not touch the electrical contacts or the ink nozzles on the ink cartridge.
• If you get ink on your skin, wash it thoroughly with soap and water.
